TALK, TASTE & TAKE NOTES
Fifteen amazing ladies of London joined us for an exclusive whisk(e)y tasting at Fulham’s favorite pub, Wolfpack.
We had a very sexy lineup of 6 whiskies – from Japan to New Zealand, all inspired by the kick-ass women who have made waves in the industry.
WTF IS WHAT DOES NOT?
What do you get when you bring together creative industry veterans, creators, side-hustlers, and change-makers? What Does Not.
As a brand, it may be the new kid on the block, but the team behind it is no stranger to the events scene.
What Does Not is a creative incubator and culture consultancy, with a community at its core. At its heart, WDN is on a mission to preserve and evolve humans and culture. How? By putting human connection front and center, by allowing people from all walks to be their true and fullest selves, by creating a window into a world without preconceived ideas.
Named after the famous aphorism by Nietzsche, ‘What does not kill us, makes us stronger’, (a mindset proven by science to be essential for success in life and business), WDN is kneading together the most brilliant and marginalised minds to create a starter culture of badasses and hustlers who can kickstart the social fermentation process needed for real change.
ABOUT OUR CO-HOST KATIE GROVES
Katie first fell in love with whisky on a trip to Scotland about 7 years ago, igniting a new passion that made her quit her previous job and try to earn a living in the exciting (wine&) spirits industry.
Since then, she has embarked on various whisky adventures from Brighton to Speyside, running her own tastings, working for brands, and most memorably, managing the whisky bar at Milroy’s of Soho. Here she found a real passion for supporting other women in the industry, running a monthly women’s whisky night and connecting other industry professionals and whisky lovers.
She now works as London Sales Manager for Cardrona Distillery (New Zealand), where beautiful spirits are crafted under a talented female distilling team. Her other passions include music, cats, and trying to stay somewhere in the middle of getting fat and getting fit.
