Forget passively listening to the 'experts' before maybe getting the chance to ask a question at the end. POV turns traditional panel discussions into participatory conversations where everyone in the room has a voice.

Importantly, POVs look back to look forward to unpick how individual choices can influence society.

If only the ‘experts’ speak, how can society evolve?

POV begins with a different assumption: everyone carries knowledge, lived experience and a perspective worth sharing. Instead of asking audiences to sit quietly, we invite the entire room into the conversation.

Because better questions – and better futures – are created together.

POV is a participatory discussion format that transforms traditional panel talks into facilitated conversations where every attendee has the opportunity to contribute their knowledge, experience and perspective.

Panelists and attendees often comment how the discourse is varied, respectful, and cross-generational, with viewpoints from many different perspectives. If we only expose each other to those who agree with us, what is the point? For society to progress, we have to arrive if not at consensus, at respectful understanding.

POV IS:

- A space where all voices matter, and active listening is encouraged

- Designed so the discussion guides participants to understand how the personal connects with the big picture, a key element to building resilient, diverse, and innovative communities

- An organic networking event without the cringe of trying to network. When you’ve heard people in the room speak, you know who you’d like to approach – and already have talking points to discuss

- A success when there is no queue to speak to the panelists at the end

POV IS NOT:

- A chance to catch up on your emails

- A chance for panelists to sell themselves
